We all know that having great head shots taken by an experienced professional Photographer is a must in the business world and certainly for any individual building a talent portfolio.
You want to ensure you are taken seriously and represented at your best. You want the photos that are captured to be taken …
- in beautiful light,
- with your best angles in mind;
- with expressions that are congruent with your personality; and
- in a context that is consistent with your brand
For IMPACT individuals (and groups) who are wanting to communicate their value should also consider pairing their images with words of significance.

Adding text to your images it is a great way to communicate your values and your beliefs both quickly and efficiently across a wide audience simply by sharing words that strongly resonate with you.
Not only will this attract attention but it can also inspire.
I have been lucky this past two years to be able to observe some great techniques for how this is done whilst assisting the photographers here at Studio 4 Photography and most recently I have the opportunity to learn a handful of graphic design skills to effectively scale and construct text onto a client’s image in a style that best suits their desired look.
Being able to create images and design sets to help our clients further their creative side really is one of my favourite things to do and I am looking forward to the rest of my training this year where I will learn to take the images as well.
